On Saturday, January 29, 2011, Sam Houston Bearkat Lacrosse will host the 1st Annual Youth Lacrosse Winter Games at the historic Pritchett Fields on the Sam Houston State University campus. This round-robin style tournament will host four 7th-8th teams and four 5th-6th teams and each team will be guaranteed three games. The location for these games is ideal for teams from the Austin, Dallas and Houston area wanting to minimize expenses with a one-day trip. In addition these games will serve to provide one more opportunity for extra game experience prior to the beginning regular season.
Proceeds from this event will provide support to Sam Houston Men’s Lacrosse.
