Sam Houston State Men’s Lacrosse participates in Divison II of the Lone Star Alliance (LSA).  The LSA is part of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the national governing body for Club Lacrosse in over 215 colleges and universities.

SHSU Lacrosse is a club sport out of the Rec Sports office, and is governed 100% by the students. Each May the team elects a Team President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  As well as many committees to handle specific jobs. All money and decisions come through the board, teaching the students how to become leaders.
